GTA IV Selfie mod

This mod makes possible take some "selfies" in GTA IV, something similar to what we have in V, but here the photos are not related to the mobile phone, all script action. The photos are saved in the game Scripts folder (sElfie files folder). This mod was started some time ago by Josemar Santos.

ATTENTION

This mod need a extra step after installation to work fine in fullscreen mode, you need to set the compatibility mode of GTA IV to disable the desktop composition:


This will temporary disable the Aero effect when game starts and will avoid the black photo bug when game is running in fullscreen, if your photos still not working, run the game in window mode using commandline.


Known issues

Black photo/desktop photo may happen in fullscreen mode if desktop composition is enabled and game is running in fullscreen, game running in window mode don't seems to have this issue.

Player character may"shake" a little when in selfie photo mode

Some HUD info from other mods may appear in the photos

This mod is not compatible with mods that force anim playback (Bicycle, IronmanIV on flight, etc.), this means that you can have both mods but can't take selfies when the powers/feature of the other mod is enabled (riding a bicycle, flying with ironman, etc.).

Mobile phone missing - This may happen after use the selfie mod menu, to fix is very simple, press Insert to show mods menu then close the menu, after 2 seconds mobile phone may work fine again.

Hotkeys

Insert - Show mods menu
MButton - Take a photo (or via the option in the menu)
Mouse wheel - "zoom" in/out

You can change the hotkey in the self-generated .ini file
