Batmobile script

GTA IV VStyle - JB700

This is my new script for GTA IV, its a special Aston Martin DB5 based on JB700 from GTA V.
This first version has only two features:

Release spikes that will burst car tyres
Powerful shot with fixed guns

Observation: You must steal the car, there is a blip on map indicating where the car is, after succeed the last car position will be saved when you exit the vehicle :)

Iron Man IV v2.0 - Stark Tower support

Update for Iron Man IV script: Added Stark Tower support  and some minor features


The Tower will be a new safe house in map, one helicopter (Maverick) and one car (Comet) will be automatically created. You will be able to store up to 6 cars on tower's garage.
You can use the tower's armor selector to equip any of the armors that are in the tower armors floor.

Tested in GTA IV patch 1.0.7.0 and EFLC, in EFLC the Mark III armor is a ped model and the mask/helmet can't be removed pressing M like in IV.

Download options

Option 1 - Easy setup (all-in-one): download here (mirror) - This option will install Script + Tony Stark player model + Stark Tower + required Armors for Tower
If the download fails to start in MEGA server on Chrome browser, use IE or Firefox :)
Option 1.1 - Easy setupUpdate only: This one will install only the script and animations, download here (mirror)

Additional files

Download the Audi R8 here (mirror, mirror2) - Easy setup file (source) - Will replace Comet and will be parked outside the Stark Tower, you can change the model in the .ini file and replace other car.


Added armors (without replace peds) required files

If you used the add armors method you need this .ini file, you must replace the one that is in the Scripts folder. The difference is the model names in the armor_selector sections that are different for added armors.


Backup files

Download the files to restore the "Getalife" building replaced by Stark Tower here (mirror, or use the manul setup files)
To restore Niko's head download this playerped.rpf backup (mirror)

This mod is the evolution of the Main Character Switcher that i made before GTA V release, now we have real sounds and more accurate timing for the screen effects when switching. 

Additional features:

Direct punch attack
Jump and attack effect (fall)
Special abilities
Frag screen effect (white blink)
Health regeneration up to half max health
Weapon selection HUD
Multiple guns (ex.: You can have Glock and Desert Eagle at same time)
Characters interaction (You can call the other chars to help you)

v1.1 released, fixed some issues and added option to enable/disable some features

Parachute IV

This is my Parachute script for GTA IV and TLaD (also TBoGT).

Basically it adds the ability to control the free fall and have a parachute to use almost like in TBoGT. The speeds are a little different, also the anims and sounds, but the result is very similar. A nice feature of this mod is the possibility to use guns while in parachute. When entering a helicopter you will automatically receive a parachute, like in GTA V.

In the map you will find some blips with text "Pb" where you can go to perform a parachute jump.

If the parachute model don't appear when should you need to increase your detail/view distance in game graphics options, this model has a bug that makes this happen :)

GTA V Radio HUD script

This mod was inspired by GTA V radio hud and will bring to IV and EFLC something similar.
It don't change the normal radios, it just gives a second choice to switch radios in game.

Known bugs:
1 - If you turn off radio (commonly X key) you can't bring it back using the mod, you need to use normal game radio station switcher to reactivate radio, after this you can use the mod again. 
2 - The Turn Off option will only reduce the radio volume.

My new mods will go with option to set in the .ini file the keys that will be used with XBox 360 control, so, based on the list below you can choose the right number to use:
BACK = 13
START = 12
X = 14
Y = 15
A = 16
B = 17
DPAD UP = 8
DPAD LEFT = 10
DPAD RIGHT = 11
TRIGGER LEFT = 5
TRIGGER RIGHT = 7
BUMPER LEFT = 4

The .ini file will have same base name of the script and will be located in the gta Scripts folder, after changing the keys you must enter the scripthook command reloadscripts or load a saved game.

GTA V Online - Why cheat?

As you guys may know, we have a lot of bugs (glitches) in GTA V Online that let user duplicate cars, earn crazy amount of money and experience (RP), spawn items that are available only after some level, use "tricks" to be invulnerable on foot and almost impossible to kill (aka "god" mode) and even use game auto aim/aim lock feature at bigger distances.

The question is: Why cheat? Why do this thing knowing that people think that you are just a loser that can't do the things right and need to cheat to win? Don't you have self-respect?


People know that you cheat, they know that what you have don't have value because is result of glitches/tricks, so, high levels or high amount of money and custom cars means nothing since they come from cheating tactics/tricks.

The hardest part is see how "soft" the software companies are with those people, they don't seems to care too much.

R* says that have plans to remove all "illegal" money from Online mode, but what about the real cheaters with "auto aim" and "god" mode? This kind of thing really causes difference into gameplay, This should be banned.

Tips

If you plan to use XBox 360 controller is interesting use the fixed camera (hotkey Z/Left Thumb Stick) or use the "inside" view camera

When the target indicator is green you can launch the rocket, you don't need to wait until becomes red, just like in V.

GTA V Fighter Jet P-996 Lazer script mod

This mod is inspired by GTA V's Fighter Jet features and uses a jet model made by SkyLineGTRFreak before GTA V release, so, the jet model is not exact the same from V and don't have all moving parts.

Features:

Shoot with minigun
Lock on targets and launch missiles on them
Crosshair and Jet model inspired by GTA V
Simulated jet physics
Improved engine and air flow sounds

Tips

The jet is located in the airport, watch the video to see where exactly.

If you plan to use XBox 360 controller is interesting use the fixed camera (Last camera mode) or use the "inside" view camera

When the target indicator is green you can launch the rocket, you don't need to wait until becomes red, just like in V.

The script works based on the model name specified on .ini file (Scripts folder), so, if you want use other model you need to edit the .ini file and set the same name there.

The mod will try to clean any unwanted ped with the jet model on streets, to disable this method just set cleanStreetsTime to 0 on self-generated .ini file.

Depending on modded graphics your engine effect may look bad, you can edit the corona colors used in the .ini file.

Tank V Style - GTA IV

Tank mod inspired by GTA V's Tank, model made by SkyLineGTRFreak and edited by me to fit the script needs (tower and cannon).


This mod is a old project that me and SkyLineGTRFreak started months before GTA V release but we never finished, now that i know how to create simple object mods for IV i was able to edit the tower and cannon to fit the script behavior and finally finish the mod but making it behave similar to the tank from GTA V.

You can edit how much tanks will come after you and how much stars are needed to send tanks.

The camera number 4 was "edited" to behave as an fixed camera attached to the tank tower, it's good to use when controlling with XBox 360 control.

The mod will replace ripley by default but you can edit the .ini file and set other vehicle, look inside the .oiv file with winzip to see the handling line. The tank should spawn at airport.

You can use the scripthook command "enemytank 1" to create enemy tanks to hunt you, "1" is how much enemy tanks to create, more than 10 is dangerous for performance and script behavior.

Taxi bug: Case you experience the taxi bug (lot of taxi on streets) when driving the tank, you can use this script to help reduce this bug, extract it to your gta Scripts folder.


Features

Heavy weight + script makes you smash and, sometimes, explode cars
Shoot tank cannon projectile
Moving parts: Tower and cannon
Enemy tanks: Cops will use tanks at certain wanted level or when player has tank and is messing around
Tank hideout points: Make you able to save the stolen tank
Tank auto spawn at airport
Swat guys can have RPG to shoot against you
Tank damage controlled by script, so, it's needed some 4 or 6 close explosions to destroy a tank, damage in player's tank is lower

[TUT] Finding native functions usage and parameters - GTA IV

Let's say that you found a native method on the GTA IV native functions list but don't know how to use it, what you can do is download and extract this file and use windows search to search inside the file contents for the native method, this way you will see how R* used the method in GTA IV/EFLC.

The big problem is understand the parameters because great part of them are variables with numbers that don't make much sense hehe, so, you can try finding the param elsewhere in the code to have an idea of what it can be.

In any case, this decompiled SCO files are the best way to see how some things are made in GTA IV or EFLC :)

Let me demonstrate how to find and understand for example the call of DRAW_CHECKPOINT.

First i find the method on site but it don't have a definition, so, i open the SCO files folder and use windows search to find that word:



If the result show some files i open them and search for the method inside it:



Now that i have the method call i try to find from where the parameters came or what are their type:


The param "uVar12" is previously used as reference (ref) in a method that will result in coordinates, so, i assume that the first three uses of this param is the coordinate of the checkpoint, Now we need to find out what are the other parameters: 12, 230, 110, 0

A good way to understand what they are is try in a code and see the result, in this case for example if you call the DRAW_CHECKPOINT and pass player position as the position and let the other params as they are in the SCO you will find out that the other params are the diameter (12) and color in RGB format, red (230), green (110) and blue (0). But, in this specific case the param diameter need to be used as float (12.0) or the command will fail, this is the result:


Flappy IV - Frustrating script mod

This mod was requested by Quechus13, the name was suggested by Rick Jason Villaflor and fits perfect the mod, the initial idea was make possible player "flap" around the city avoiding collisions, then i implemented the idea of use pedestrians to obtain points, the idea is "flap" and try to hit pedestrians, if you hit anything else you fall.

The mod has three game modes each one with his own score:

One chance - Hit anything that is not a pedestrian and you lose
Time limit - Hit pedestrians to increase your time left, if you fall you can try again without reset score
Free mode - Only death stops you :)

  • If you hit a cop you earn one more point
  • If you hit pedestrians in sequence without press "flap" button you earn one more point
  • Hitting pedestrians close to cops will increase your wanted level
  • Hitting more than two cops will make them come with RPG after you
  • In free mode if you reach score 25 pedestrians will try to do evade dives when you get close
  • In free mode if you reach score 75 pedestrians will use RPG against you and do evasive dives ^^

OIV Generator for vehicles - OpenIV Package Generator

This tool was developed to make easy generate .oiv files to use with OpenIV Package Installer for easy setup of modded vehicles.

This is what the tool does:

Creates the assembly.xml file with all commands required to replace/insert the new lines and models
Creates the content folder with modded and backup files
Creates a restore option to make user able to restore GTA IV default car model and handling
Generates the .oiv file compressing the files generated in previous steps.

You can download the Full version that goes with the backup database or download the application only and generate your own backup database extracting models from your GTA IV. I recommend first option because it's easier, just extract to an folder and use.

Case you want create your own backup database  this is the structure needed:

In the application (CarOIVGenerator.exe) folder:

You need a folder called "backup source"

Inside "backup source" you need:

  • Folder "main" that will have the handling.dat, vehicles.ide, carcols.dat and all vehicles from "pc\models\cdimages\vehicles.img"
  • Folder "tbogt" that will have the handling.dat, vehicles.ide, carcols.dat and all vehicles from "tbogt\pc\models\cdimages\vehicles.img"
  • Folder "tlad" that will have the handling.dat, vehicles.ide, carcols.dat and all vehicles from "tlad\pc\models\cdimages\vehicles.img"

Know Issues

Because of OpenIV limitations i can't make sure that extra handling lines (required by helicopters, planes, boats, etc., they start with %, !, $, etc) will be properly replaced by the new ones, what i do is try to delete and, in any case, insert in the end of the helicopters section, this way game will read this info and overwrite the info that was read before, i tested in EFLC, GTA IV patch 1.0.4.0 and patch 1.0.7.0 and seems to work fine, game always considered last info as the "official" :)

If you don't run the application as administrator it don't will be able to create some files and will indicate error in the process.

If you don't have .NET Framework 4.5 installed the application may crash because the Zip method need that framework, the final user (that will use the .oiv file) don't need the 4.5 framework.
